Color: Yellow light self, "Wide-petaled lemon yellow. A seedling from Hyperion and an improvement on that variety. Flowers large, of pleasing shape and color, opening in the morning. Entirely sun-resistant. Scapes slender and relatively low, the flowers borne nearer the foliage than in most varieties. Very free flowering, hardy, and vigorous."
