About Us and More Information
Seize the Daylilies is a daylily farm in Lakeville, IN. We are a state licensed and inspected nursery. We grow over 1,400 varieties of daylilies outdoors in our 1-acre field in hardiness zone 5b. We also grow some daylilies in pots for local customers and some other potted plants.
ALL PICTURES ARE TAKEN OF OUR PLANTS ON OUR PROPERTY AND BELONG TO US. USE OF OUR PHOTOS REQUIRES OUR CONSENT.
Plants are sold as a Double Fan division, 2 fans, either connected or separate, however they come out of the ground, unless noted.
Shipping: Plants can be shipped in the Spring and Fall. Spring shipping usually starts around Mid-May, weather depending, and continues through June. You can specify your desired shipping date range.
July shipping will be done by request only, as most of the country is too hot and dry at this time and the plants do not ship well, especially to the South or other warmer zones.
Fall shipping starts in August and continues though the frost, typically Mid to Late October. Again, request your shipping time if desired. It is recommended to get your daylilies planted 4-6 weeks before your average first frost so they have time to reestablish.
At this time, we are only able to ship within the Continental United States.
Plant replacement guarantees will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Order Pick Up: Order Pick-ups are done BY APPOINTMENT from May through September. If you select to pick up your order at check out, you will be contacted to set up your appointment.
Garden Visits: We love garden visitors! We take some great pictures, but daylilies are best seen in person. We recommend coming in the morning, if possible, and planning to spend a couple of hours walking around. It’s a lot to take in! Garden visits can be scheduled by contacting us. We currently do not have regular hours.
International Shipping: We are now able to offer international shipping and phytosanitary certifications. Message us for more information as your countries requirements and shipping will vary depending on destination.
